In the footsteps of great cities such as Paris, Melbourne is jumping on the bike share band wagon. Over the coming weeks, you’ll notice stations go up all over town holding a stock of blue bikes.

The scheme is pretty easy to use, grab a yearly subscription for just $50 or super cheap single rides from $2.50.

We went for a burn around on one of these cruisers and were suitably impressed. Much more stable and comfortable than their original Parisian counterparts. Fat wheels have no doubt been implemented to keep the tram track menace at bay for tourists and locals alike.
