The State Library is just for squares and academics? No way Hipster. They’ve got one of the biggest collections of zines and they’re all available for you to sit down and take a read of.

Ever since the blog went mainstream, the number of zines may have greatly diminished, but it means that there are no hacks wasting their time with bad zines. Pretty much everything out in the ether is top grade now.

Head down to the library and check it out for yourself or do a pre-search here. Make sure you head up to the LaTrobe reading room and check out the dome too, that thing is massive!
