Semi-permanent 2011

If your ears prick up when you hear the words ‘art’, ‘design’ or ‘media’, Semi-Permanent ought to get you absolutely frothing.

If your eyes glaze over when you hear the word ‘conference’, allow us to prove your peepers wrong.

Semi-Permanent is a world class design conference covering disciplines of design, including graphic design, film, fine art, illustration, web design, interaction design, photography, visual effects, animation, graffiti, motion graphics, stop motion, and architecture, and much more.

The conference is the most beautiful joining together of creative minds since Confest, minus the nudity and an acid tab or four.

This year’s impressive and inspirational lineup includes notorious artists Kelly Thompson, Sam Leach, Ken Taylor and motion graphics extraordinaire, Patrick Clair.

The generous discounted student prices are most appealing and prove Semi-Permanent’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of creative designers.

It is a real privilege and credit to our city to share in this event with New York and London (via satellite) and for the first time this year, Semi-Permanent extends to Hong Kong.

We’re excited writing about it. You should be excited reading about it.

The conference has almost outlived its title as ‘semi’ permanent, drawing tormented Creatives from their dark dens for 9 years.

But we’re far from complaining-Bring on Semi-Permanent 2011!
